Sunday 3rd April – walk *** – Hemley circuit including lunch at Hemley Church – sunny start then clouded over.

No plans today, wind not arriving until tomorrow and then it last for several days so relaxed at home, even managed to do my exercises in the sun in the back garden. We decided to make a sandwich and drive over to one of our favourites, Hemley Church but which time it had clouded over but the breeze was light so it would be OK to walk. After a nice lunch we set off on our walk at 2.30 heading down the country path first with loads of blossom and pussy willow, a few birds flitting about and we saw several buzzards this afternoon too. We turned at Kirton Creek being high water it was full and we returned along the River Deben path which was muddy as usual in places but we got through OK. A pleasant afternoon stroll before heading back to Felixstowe, a small detour to The Dip to check the sea which was absolutely flat calm and a huge container ship was heading out, then home for a cuppa and cakem we know how to live:)
